THE REQUIREMENT
UBMC had some files which were as old as 100 years which included their minutes of meetings, property documents and the church maps. The papers were faded and books withered, due to continued exposure to the natural elements like sunlight, heat, humidity over the years. UBMC wanted us to scan the pages without removing them from the books and of course without any damage.
THE SOLUTION
Crown set up a scan station and scanned the pages using a flatbed scanner. We also provided indexing of the pages as per the books. We were able to finish the job in a day which included scanning of 9,000 pages including several maps.
